ABOUT US
A clearer way to rent in Gurugram.
HouseHunt is a small rental marketplace in pilot. This page explains exactly what that means.
What we are trying to fix
Rental listings usually hide the parts that decide whether a place is affordable: maintenance, deposit, brokerage, and who you are actually talking to. HouseHunt shows the costs that have been provided, leaves the rest visibly blank rather than guessing, and names the poster’s role — owner, agent or current flatmate.
Where we operate
Gurugram, Haryana, India. The pilot covers a small number of Gurugram sectors so we can verify every listing and follow up on every rental outcome. We would rather cover three sectors properly than a hundred badly. New areas open as we can support them.
How listings get here
- Owners, agents and flatmates post directly and keep their own listings up to date.
- Some listings are compiled from public posts. Those are labelled, and contact goes through the poster’s own authorised channel or the original post.
- Listings are reviewed before they appear. We remove ones we cannot stand behind.
How we make money
We do not charge tenants to search or to contact a poster, and we do not sell your contact details. During the pilot HouseHunt is not monetised at all; if that changes, this page changes first.
What we are not
We are not a broker and we are not a party to your tenancy. We do not hold deposits or rent, and we do not collect payments on behalf of a poster. Verify the property and the person before you pay anyone anything.
